When record producer Robert Townson was given the intended key art for the film that needed to be on Georges Delerue’s final movie score, he was not thrilled. So he called the movie producer and suggested that Matthew paint a new poster. Lili Zannuck, the producer, agreed to see what Matthew would come up with. Upon seeing the poster comps Matthew came up with Lili decided to postpone the film’s release so the movie would have Matthew’s key art be the movie poster and album cover. This is not a general practice in the film industry.
